My second novel, Hometown Revenge: A Cruel Reckoning, drops October 13th
And I am so excited about it!
I’ve shared quite a bit about my WIP in the past few months called Beverly at the Buffet, and now it’s finally a fully written, edited, and ready for print book called Hometown Revenge: A Cruel Reckoning.
Now, I am the proud author of not one, but two, full length psychological thriller novels.
Everything you need to know about Hometown Revenge: A Cruel Reckoning
(The biggest thing is your trigger warnings)
This book is currently available for preorder via Amazon Kindle for $7.99. It drops Oct. 13th (Friday the thirteenth!) in both paperback for $14.99 and on Kindle.
This book has so many trigger warnings but it’s best to be aware of every single one before you dive in. This includes SA (rape), teen and unwanted pregnancy, bullying, abuse, and murder/hostage situations. The book is full of this stuff from start to finish, so if that isn’t something you can handle then I urge you not to read it.
The book follows Beverly Simmons, a woman in her thirties, right when she arrives to her small Upstate New York hometown of Green Hills. She drove all the way from Kissimmee and sets her sights on a restaurant called Cooke’s Country Cookin’, which was actually the former Ponderosa Steakhouse. She is clearly paying attention to a man named Harrison Beck as he goes inside to the buffet alone, sad, and miserable. She’s there for him, but notices Sarah Lewis walking in soon after, and that changes her plans immediately.
Upon entering the restaurant, it’s clear she’s there to seek some sort of revenge against her tormenters, and she will stop at nothing to force everyone to face the truths they don’t want to face, including herself.
With dark twists and turns around each and every corner, this plot is sure to keep your eyes glued.
Don’t forget about 12,775 Days
Of course, we can’t forget about Emily and Lucy in 12,775 Days, my first ever psychological full length novel! That is currently available on Amazon as well, and follows the lives of two women, both of which can’t seem to figure out what’s real and what’s a dream.
