FREE BOOK ALERT: Goodbye Good Night and Good Riddance will be released one chapter at a time via Substack
I'm excited to announce that I plan to release a new chapter every week to my subscribers, giving you all a first look! (meaning the entirety of my newest book over the span of 15 weeks!)
This month I’m working diligently to finish the editing of my fifth book, Goodbye, Good Night and Good Riddance. I want to do something special with this one, and I feel like the message is important enough to make this more readily available to readers. I also know the economy is rough right now, and the ability to afford fun things like books is tough once rent, cable, electric, and groceries are all paid for. So I’d like to do something nice in the readersphere and offer my most absolute, favorite book I’ve ever written to people in an affordable, accessible way.
What this will look like
Goodbye, Good Night and Good Riddance is made up of fifteen chapters in all. Some are long, while others are short. I will be releasing a chapter a week for fifteen weeks until the entire book is released. I’m currently working hard to get it all edited perfectly and ready for release to start this adventure!
What if you just love it so much you need to know what happens next?
It will be available for purchase on Amazon in paperback and Kindle formats! If you find you just can’t wait another week, or fourteen weeks, to see what happens next, then you can go ahead and buy the whole thing to tear through it and get to the end.

Synopsis of Goodbye, Good Night and Good Riddance
I’ve shared this so many times with my subscribers, but before the full book is shared, I just wanted to be sure to share exactly what this is, especially because there are some triggers.
Triggers to be aware of: Suicide, death, cancer, loss of a loved one, alcoholism, drug addiction, abusive relationships, neglect.
The story: Polly Walker has been struggling for quite a while. Despite having a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, she finds herself working at a local big box store, riddled with fear of responsibility and drowning in the bottom of a bottle most nights. She’s been in a rocky place with her boyfriend, Sully, who she finds has been seeing a girl from high school behind her back. On top of that, her best friend Hannah is sick of her and unwilling to put up with her issues any longer. Her father is a deadbeat that has had nothing to do with her for years, and her mother never fails to let her know she’s disappointed in her. She decides she simply can’t take it anymore, and opts to end her own life at the young age of 25.
She thought she would finally find a place of peace, only to learn she’s escaped nothing in death. She’s met by her Grandma Lizzie, who passed when she was only five from breast cancer. With her guidance, she learns what she needs to do in order to “get to the light.”
Upon arriving to a strange limbo, somewhere between life and death, she can see a door in the distance with bright light shining through the cracks. Laughter and music comes from the other side. Grandma Lizzie informs her that everyone who dies has a frequency, similar to a radio wave. The lower the frequency, the further from the light a person’s soul will be. Those who die of suicide or overdoses usually have a lower frequency, while those who have led happy lives are always higher and closer to the light. In order to reach the light, Polly must go back through her life and gain a better understanding of not only herself, but those she was closest with. She must learn to let go of resentment and anger, and find love in her heart in order to raise her frequency high enough to get to the light.
Throughout her journey, she not only learns valuable lessons, but she is able to relive some of the best moments and be happy again.
